Wednesday Poetry Prompts: 452 – A Game Poem
I don’t know how to be less serious
When I laugh the humor isn’t light
A smirk at casual racism
A chuckle at hypocrisy
A belly laugh at absolute absurdity
I’m wound tight
The relax app group on my iPad is proof
It’s full of comically colored icons and silly imagery
My favorite is the the most predictable
If you get the angle right, you assault some pigs
with optimal force, win and level up your bada** bird squad
It helps me fall asleep
for six hours
before the world wakes me up
to chaos, worry and angst
like my perpetually enraged birds
In real life
