Hi! Thanks for your interest in these delightful girls. Below you’ll find their story and how to get in touch if you’d like to adopt Lucy, Storm or both. You’ll also find images and videos as I document their journey from now to forever home.
**** UPDATE**** I am able to surrender Lucy and Storm to the LA County Animal Care and Control location in Downey, CA. It’s not ideal …
If you’re still interested in giving these sweet girls a home, please look for them there.
STORM ID: A5740150 | LUCY ID: A5741578
What’s The Deal?
Why are these Super Sweet dogs up for adoption if they’re so delightful?

My dad, Ben passed away. It has been months and it still doesn’t feel real.
It was sudden and unexpected so even though my dad had the forethought to plan most of what would happen in the event of his death, there was no plan for Lucy and Storm.
I may be overly sentimental. If I had room to accommodate these sweet pups, I would take them myself. But that’s not available and most of the alternative options are heartbreaking, especially under the circumstances.
That’s where you come in!
My village has come together to help me care for Lucy and Storm while I try to find them forever homes, but that can’t last forever and it’s frankly not the life these big softies deserve.
I’m hoping that you are willing and able to adopt one or both of these beautiful girls to play with them, pet them, hug them, and tell them what good girls they are for the rest of their sweet lives.
That’s it.
I couldn’t fit all this on a flyer. I don’t know a lot about dogs, but I don’t think Storm and Lucy need to be adopted together. They’d miss each other. I think their personalities are different enough and they’re young enough that they would be ok apart. See the gallery below.
Thanks again for stopping by.
